HOW IT WORKS
How to use the SEO Title Analyzer
One title and an optional target phrase.
Paste the title exactly as it appears in the page’s <title> tag.
Optionally add the phrase you want the page found for.
Work through the warnings, then copy the improved title.
WHAT IT CHECKS
What it looks at, and how to read it.
Width against Google’s desktop limit, a character count, checks with fixes and a truncated preview.
What it checks
- Width in pixels against about 580px
- Very short titles
- Words repeated more than twice
- Titles in capital letters
- More than two separators
- Whether and where the target phrase appears
How to read the results
- Pass on width means the full title should fit on one desktop line.
- A target phrase in the second half is fine, but readers scan the start first.
- Repetition warnings point to keyword stuffing, which Google tends to rewrite.
The concepts behind it, in the SEO glossary: Title tag.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common mistakes, an example and the limits.
Common mistakes
- Listing several keywords with separators instead of writing one clear title.
- Using the same title on many pages.
- Leaving the CMS default, such as "Product" or "Home".
A worked example
"Laptops | Cheap Laptops | Laptops Kenya | YourStore" repeats "laptops" three times. The tool suggests one clear title: "Laptops in Kenya: Prices, Specs and Same-Day Delivery".
Limitations
- Pixel widths are measured with Arial at the sizes Google’s results use. Google changes its layout and rewrites many titles and descriptions, so the live result can differ.
- The preview shows how a snippet could look, not how it will rank.

Questions about the SEO Title Analyzer
Straight answers about what it does and where its limits are.
Should every title end with the brand?
It helps recognition when there is room. On long titles, the brand is the first thing to drop so the description of the page stays visible.
