FIX · INDEXING INTELLIGENCE

Indexing intelligence: what Google has seen, and what needs attention.

Discovered URLs, URL Inspection results, sitemap freshness and verified Googlebot activity in one workspace. Keep discovery, crawling and indexing as separate questions, and notify Bing and other engines through IndexNow.

INSIDE THE PRODUCT

Discovery, crawling and indexing, kept apart.

Each question has its own evidence. Ndovu shows them side by side so the right fix is obvious.

UNDER THE HOOD

How indexing intelligence keeps track.

How the numbers are produced, so you can judge them for yourself.

An inventory from your evidence

Known URLs come from your sitemaps, Search Console pages and site audits, so the inventory reflects what you publish and what Google has shown.

Inspection within the quota

Search Console allows 2,000 URL inspections a day per property. Ndovu stays below that and works through important URLs first, keeping each URL’s history of status, last crawl and canonical.

Engines side by side

Bing performance, crawl information and backlinks sit beside Google’s, and Bing AI Performance CSVs can be imported. The engines are compared, never averaged.

IndexNow for changes

When a page changes, IndexNow notifies participating engines such as Bing. Submissions are kept for 90 days. Google does not use IndexNow.

HOW IT WORKS

From an inventory to pages Google can index.

Four steps from connecting your data to a decision you can stand behind.

01

Connect the properties

Connect Search Console and Bing Webmaster, and let the inventory build from sitemaps, search data and audits.

02

Let inspection run

Scheduled inspection works through important URLs within the daily quota.

03

Find the mismatches

Filter URLs that are in search but not in sitemaps, or not indexed despite being important.

04

Fix the cause

Correct the page, canonical or sitemap, then watch the next inspection.

WITH YOUR AI AGENT

Ask why a page is not indexed.

Your agent inspects URLs, reads Search Console and Bing, and can notify participating engines through IndexNow.

  • Uses the same data as the web app
  • Paid tools estimate their cost first
  • Saves the report to the project

DATA & LIMITS

Know what the numbers can and cannot tell you.

Where the data comes from, how fresh it is, and the questions it cannot answer on its own.

LIMIT

Inspection is not a request

Reading index status does not ask Google to index a page.

LIMIT

A quota caps freshness

Large inventories cannot all be re-inspected every day.

LIMIT

Engines differ

Google and Bing are shown side by side, never averaged.

LIMIT

Indexed is not ranking

An indexed page can still earn no impressions.

FAQ

Indexing: common questions.

Straight answers about what it does, what it costs and where its limits are.

Does inspection request indexing?

No. URL Inspection reads Google’s recorded status; it is not an indexing request and does not guarantee indexing.

Can every URL be inspected daily?

No. Google’s inspection API is quota-limited, so scheduled inspection works through important URLs over time.

Does Google use IndexNow?

No. IndexNow notifies participating engines such as Bing. Google discovers changes through crawling and sitemaps.

Where does crawl data come from?

From your own server or CDN logs through the WordPress plugin, Cloudflare Logpush or an access-log import, with Googlebot verified by DNS.

How many URLs can be inspected?

Google allows 2,000 URL Inspection requests a day per property. Ndovu stays under that and inspects important URLs first.

Can Ndovu request indexing in Google?

No. Google offers no general indexing request API for ordinary pages. Ndovu reads status and helps you fix the cause.

What is IndexNow for?

It notifies participating engines such as Bing when a URL changes. Google does not use it.

Can I import Bing AI Performance data?

Yes. Upload the CSV export; citations sit beside Bing performance without being averaged with Google.

Can I export the inventory?

Yes. Indexing views export for review or for a developer ticket.

What are the limits of the data?

Inspection is quota-limited; a large inventory cannot all be refreshed daily. Inspection is not an indexing guarantee. IndexNow notifies participating engines of changes; Google does not use IndexNow.
