Connect technical findings with affected URLs, search evidence and crawl coverage before deciding what deserves attention first.
A warning count is not a work plan
A large number of issues may come from one shared template. A small number can affect the most important pages. Begin with what was actually crawled and the websites or sections the finding describes.
Separate discovered, fetched and analysed
A sitemap inventory does not mean every listed page was fetched. A fetch does not mean every optional check completed. Ndovu reports these stages separately so that a partial crawl does not read like a complete assessment.
Investigate the affected pages
Review the evidence behind a finding: the observed markup or response, relevant Search Console signals, Analytics context and inspected index status where available. Do not assume that an issue caused a traffic change merely because both appeared in the same period.
Fix the source when the pattern is shared
When a problem is generated by a template, taxonomy rule or component, review that shared source. Confirm a representative set of affected pages, apply a controlled change and test the surrounding journeys before expanding it.
Verify before closing
A saved change is not the same as a verified fix. Rerun the relevant checks, compare audits with compatible scopes and leave search-engine processing time separate from the website’s own technical response.
