ANALYTICS
Search Console Landing Page Analyzer
Which kinds of pages bring search traffic: products, categories, articles? Search Console lists pages one by one. This analyzer groups them by type and by section of the site, and points to pages that rank on page one but are rarely clicked.

HOW IT WORKS
How to use the Search Console Landing Page Analyzer
A Search Console Performance → Pages export (CSV).
Export Performance → Pages from Search Console.
Paste it here.
Rewrite titles and descriptions of the low-CTR pages first.
WHAT IT CHECKS
What it looks at, and how to read it.
Totals, clicks by page type and by section, and low-CTR pages on page one.
What it checks
- Page type from the URL
- Site section (first folder)
- Page-one pages with under half your average CTR
How to read the results
- A section with impressions but few clicks often has weak titles or the wrong page ranking.
- Low CTR on page one is usually a snippet problem, not a ranking one.
The concepts behind it, in the SEO glossary: Google Search Console.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common mistakes, an example and the limits.
Common mistakes
- Judging a section by clicks alone without impressions.
- Changing titles on many pages at once, then not knowing what worked.
A worked example
Category pages earn 60% of a store’s clicks while product pages get impressions but little traffic, so the team improves product titles and descriptions.
Limitations
- Your export is read in your browser and never uploaded.
- Search Console exports show at most 1,000 rows per report and hide rare queries for privacy, so totals can be lower than in the Search Console interface.
- Page types are read from URL patterns (product, category, article…) and can be wrong for unusual URL structures.
