ON-PAGE SEO

On-Page SEO Checker

Most on-page problems are simple once you can see them: a missing description, two H1s, an image without alt text, a stray noindex. This check fetches a page and reads every on-page signal at once, grouped so you can work through them in order.

HOW IT WORKS

How to use the On-Page SEO Checker

One public page URL.

01

Enter the page’s full URL.

02

Start with the Indexing group: nothing else matters if the page cannot be indexed.

03

Work down the groups and recheck after each round of fixes.

WHAT IT CHECKS

What it looks at, and how to read it.

A report in six groups, each signal marked as passed, a warning or a problem, with how to fix it.

Checks

What it checks

  • Status, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag and canonical
  • Title and meta description width, emptiness and repetition
  • H1 and heading order
  • Language attribute and mobile viewport
  • Image alt attributes, links and mixed content
  • JSON-LD validity and social share tags

Results

How to read the results

  • Problems block indexing or break something visible; fix them first.
  • Warnings are improvements worth making when you next edit the page.
  • Info items are facts to know, not tasks.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common mistakes, an example and the limits.

Mistakes

Common mistakes

  • Chasing a word count: length is not a ranking factor.
  • Fixing a template problem on one page instead of in the theme.
  • Ignoring the Indexing group because the rest looks fine.

Example

A worked example

A new product page gets no impressions. The report shows the canonical points to the category page and the description is empty; fixing both gets it indexed within a week.

Limits

Limitations

  • Checks the HTML the server sends. Content a page adds with JavaScript after loading is not seen.
  • Some sites block or challenge automated requests; then the result shows what a crawler without a browser would get.
  • Checks one page as it is now. It does not measure rankings, traffic, backlinks or speed.

FAQ

Questions about the On-Page SEO Checker

Straight answers about what it does and where its limits are.

Is there an overall score?

No. A single number hides what to do. The report lists each signal with its fix, starting with the ones that stop a page from being indexed.

Why does it not check page speed?

Speed needs a real browser or field data from Chrome users. Use a Core Web Vitals tool for that; this one reads the HTML and headers.

Audit every page of your site on a schedule.

Free tools check one thing at a time. The NdovuSEOLabs platform connects your own Search Console, analytics and server logs, and keeps checking every page.
