  • Delivery fee, currency and times

  • Shipping is linked from each Offer with shippingDetails and the node’s @id.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common mistakes, an example and the limits.

Mistakes

Common mistakes

  • A return window in the markup that differs from the returns page.
  • Free delivery marked up when it applies only above a minimum order.
  • Leaving out the currency.

Example

A worked example

A store that accepts returns within 14 days at its shops, and delivers in Kenya for KSh 300 within 1 to 3 days after dispatch.

Limits

Limitations

  • Builds markup from what you enter; it cannot check that the page shows the same information, which Google requires.
  • Valid markup makes a page eligible for a rich result. Google decides whether to show one.
  • One country and one delivery fee; stores with zones or weight-based rates need more detailed markup.

FAQ

Questions about the Shipping & Returns Schema Builder

Straight answers about what it does and where its limits are.

Do I need this if I use Google Merchant Center?

Merchant Center settings take precedence for Shopping. Markup still describes your policies for organic product results.

Where does the markup go?

On a page every product links to, such as the homepage, or in the site-wide template. The @id lets offers point to it.

Need this for a whole website, over time?

The NdovuSEOLabs platform connects your own Search Console, analytics and server logs, and audits every page on a schedule.
