STRUCTURED DATA

Product & Offer Schema Generator

Product markup lets search engines show price, availability and ratings under a product page, and feeds Google’s merchant listings. Most stores generate it from a plugin; this builds it by hand for one product, or shows what correct markup looks like.

WHAT IT CHECKS

What it looks at, and how to read it.

Validated Product JSON-LD for product snippets and merchant listings.

Checks

What it checks

  • Name, image, price and currency
  • GTIN length
  • Availability and condition values
  • Ratings only with a review count

Results

How to read the results

  • The price must match the visible price on the page, in the same currency.
  • Ratings are included only when both the average and the count are filled in.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common mistakes, an example and the limits.

Mistakes

Common mistakes

  • A price in the markup that differs from the page after a sale.
  • Ratings copied from another site.
  • Leaving out the currency (KES).

Example

A worked example

A phone listed at KSh 24,999, in stock, new, with 38 reviews averaging 4.6: the generator adds an Offer and an AggregateRating.

Limits

Limitations

  • Builds markup from what you enter; it cannot check that the page shows the same information, which Google requires.
  • Valid markup makes a page eligible for a rich result. Google decides whether to show one.

FAQ

Questions about the Product & Offer Schema Generator

Straight answers about what it does and where its limits are.

Do I need a GTIN?

Google recommends one when the product has it; it helps match your product with others. Own-brand products may not have one.

Can I add ratings from my store’s reviews?

Yes, when they are shown on the product page. Ratings for the store itself belong elsewhere.

Need this for a whole website, over time?

The NdovuSEOLabs platform connects your own Search Console, analytics and server logs, and audits every page on a schedule.
