- Including URLs with tracking parameters or session IDs.
- Uploading the sitemap but never telling search engines where it is.

The example drops a duplicate and a relative URL, escapes a filter URL’s & and keeps lastmod only where a date was given.
Limitations
- Writes lastmod only where your input gives a valid date; it never invents one.

Where should I put the sitemap?
